Mark Zuckerberg has been trending in Africa this week following his visit to Nigeria and Kenya.The billionaire Facebook founder’s visit to Nigeria sparked a social media war between West African neighbours Ghana and Nigeria after Mr Zuckerberg tasted the infamous Nigerian Jollof and professed his love for it.
Mark Zuckerberg’s comments were used by Nigerians to mock Ghanaian Jollof in the usual ‘jollof wars’ on social media.
The Facebook founder’s return to Nigeria after his visit to Kenya has now sparked a selfie war with Ghana’s president, John Dramani Mahama feeling left out after Nigerian president, Buhari had a selfie moment with Mark Zuckerberg.
President Mahama according to the Flood Stuff House has immediately requested the company of Mark Zuckerberg in Ghana after the closing ceremony of the Abuja Demo Day, in Nigeria.
Mr Zuckerberg is expected to meet President Mahama for a selfie in Accra before he heads back to the US.
