Ghana’s media battle: Multimedia poaches Bola Ray from EIB, company name changes to EIB Multimedia

bola rayCelebrated Ghanaian broadcaster Nathaniel Kwabena Anokye Adisi, a.k.a is moving back to JOY FM, which is owned by the Multimedia Broadcasting Company.

In a move that is set to shock many industry persons and the general public alike, he has agreed to move back to the station he spent a decade of his radio years with.
We can confirm that a deal was reached weeks ago. Bola Ray becomes CEO of the company which is run by Kwesi Twum.
EIB already has more than 7 properties in radio, television and print as well as online, and is set to roll out additional ones. Multimedia also comes to the deal with a huge asset lineup.
The new company will be known as EIB Multimedia.

 

Bola Ray exited Joy FM in 2014 – drawing down the curtains on an illustrious 11 years career as host of multiple award-winning show, Drive Time.

“Joy FM has been a great platform to develop our career…it was a difficult thing [decision] and I am glad I got the the blessing of the CEO,Kwasi Twum. It means alot to me.I call him my Godfather for taking me in when I was young and out of school”, he told myjoyonline.com’ Dela Aglanu.

Gifted with an ability to touch Ghana’s entertainment nerve, Nathaniel Kwabena Anokye Adisi popularly known as Bola Ray joined Joy FM in 2003 from Top Radio and made 3pm to 8pm time slot a hotspot for great music, great discussions on work, family and relations.
