Ghanaian rapper, Shatta Wale reveals how Grammy Awards cheated him

A rapper from West Africa, known as Shatta Wale has slammed the 2018 Grammy Awards nominations.

According to the Ghanaian rapper, the Grammys are fake and biased. He, therefore, called on all Ghanaians and Africans to boycott the Awards.

“I don’t know why these guys always cheat me when it is time for nominations. I have won awards all over the world and currently, I am the biggest artist in the whole of Africa. Africa is the second the largest continent in the world so that makes me super huge,” Shatta Wale said on Jamaican Hip Hop radio, Yardie Yute FM.

The rapper who is noted for attacking award schemes also called on his fans not to watch the Grammys.

“Fire burn them all. I have asked all my fans to not watch the awards next year,” he added.

The nominees for the 60th Grammy Awards have been announced. Next year, the ceremony returns to New York City’s Madison Square Garden. Taking place on 28 January, music’s biggest night will be hosted by James Corden host of The Late Late Show.
